This training is for all employees that are transporting dangerous goods under the Excepted Quantity provisions of the IMDG Code. Upon successful completion of the test you will be issued with a Certificate for the shipping of Dangerous Goods by Sea for Excepted Quantities. This is valid for 2 years. To complete this course you will require access to IMDG Regulations, these can be purchased along with this course

It covers all aspects of the regulations to ensure that shippers, forwarder and airlines can be meet the standards required in the packaging and transportation of dangerous goods in Excepted Quantities.
Course Objectives:
• Correctly prepare a consignment of Excepted Quantities for sea transportation
• Validate whether a consignment has been prepared correctly for sea transportation
• Adhere to practices and standards regarding acceptance and responsibilities for the preparation and handling of excepted quantities for sea transportation.
Excepted Quantities are reserved for shipping substances that under 30 ml/g per inner carton with a maximum outer limit of 1 litre /1 kilogram. The amount you ship is dependant on the Excepted Quantity Code in the Dangerous Goods Regulations.
Excepted Quantity Course Objectives:
• Apply the practices and standards regarding the preparation and handling of goods for excepted quantities.
• Correctly prepare a dangerous goods excepted quantity shipment for Air, Road or Sea transportation.
