63rd Edition Non Radioactive Acceptance Checklist

You can use the non-radioactive IATA Acceptance checklist to validate your dangerous goods shipments before sending them to the airport. This will ensure that you are not open to re-checking penalities.

The IATA Non Radioactive Checklist has 2 sides.

1. Checking the Documentation

2. Checking the Packaging

Common Reasons for Rejection

Before starting the acceptance checklist it is important to review your document and package against the current version of the regulation. The most common reasons for rejection are:

  • Missing Signature
  • Incomplete Addresses for Shippers and Consignees
  • Missing Page of Page
  • Missing Technical Name
  • Incomplete information on the quantity and type field. you must always have (Number of pieces, Material & Shape x Net weight or litres of danger per package)  If you have the total being shipped this is incorrect.
  • Incorrectly identifying pallet IDs and amounts when you have multiple Overpacks being transported
How to use the Acceptance Checklist

If you are unsure what the requirements of the Acceptance Checklist is each row will provide you with a reference number, where you can see exactly what information the airline ground handling agents are looking for when checking your shipments.

When you look at the regulations, you will see additional information regarding that particular aspect of the regulations. The Full Name and address of the shipper and consignee must include Name, Street, City and Country. Post or Zip if applicable
